Hi Just writing to tell you all that my daughter Maya was born Thursday, April 9th at 12:41 p.m. She's 7lbs 10oz and 20 inches long. She's the best thing that's happened to me since I met my husband

Yes, waiting for excrutiating pain and A BABY as the result is a real test of patience and nerves. Really, any day now I haven't made anything much, just this cool acrylic black and white painting with the kid's name for the baby room. Hopefully I'll be doing more knitting soon. I hope everyone's enjoying spring-ish weather!

Hey friends,
I've been incredibly absent from DA for months. Sorry about that! Bad DA-er... Right now I'm working on Big Bird yelloy baby pants. That's only because I finally finished the red sweater of doom
As of today I'm a little over 2 weeks from the due date. Wish us luck!

Happy holidays to all! I hope to see some great holiday-inspired deviations soon. This year I did not go knitting crazy in order to have presents for everyone. They can probably skip a year of getting new handmade hats... Cheers!

...we think The tech wasn't 100% sure as my little darling was very demure and didn't feel like exposing herself for more than 2 seconds at a time. She looks healthy and energetic. The tech says I should be able to feel her move around here in a month or so. So now I can focus the baby-naming to the female list and her grandma will happily begin shopping for "girl clothes."
